Healthy Chocolate - Nugget form

Xoçai™ Nuggets, the Ultimate Antioxidant Treat!Did you know that the average American consumes 11.5 pounds of chocolate annually, and of this 35% or approximately 4 pounds is consumed during the “Big Three Holiday Season”: Winter Holidays, Valentine’s Day and Easter? MXI Corp is pleased to announce the introduction of Xoçai™ Nuggets, an extremely high cocoa content chocolate combining the exotic flavors of dark chocolate with Açai and Blueberries. The introduction of the Xoçai™ Nuggets was timed such that distributors could share this “Healthy Chocolate” as an alternative to the traditional chocolate consumed during the Holiday Season as the “Ultimate Antioxidant Treat”.
Each 12-gram Xoçai™ Nugget is made with rich, dark, Belgian Chocolate and has 70 calories, 5 grams of fat, 1 gram of fiber and only 3 grams of sugar. There are 100 Nuggets per case, and the case cost is $100 plus shipping and handling, the same cost as the Xoçai™ Antioxidant Beverage. Since the Nuggets are made from dark chocolate they are suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans.
The Xoçai™ Nuggets are considered a “Clean Product”: No Artificial Colors, No Artificial Flavors, No Preservatives, and No Sucralose.
We are so excited about the Xoçai™ Nuggets! They are beyond doubt the Ultimate Antioxidant Treat that help you and those around you to be “Healthy for the Holidays”. As many of you are probably aware, there have been numerous studies, including Cardiovascular Studies, on the health benefits of Dark Chocolate. Often these studies have included the Dove® Dark Chocolate Bar. MXI Corp believes in the future that these types of studies will be done with the Xoçai™ Nuggets once they see the Nugget’s Nutritional and ORAC Profile. View the Nutritional and ORAC Profile Comparison of the Xoçai™ Nuggets and the Dove® Dark Chocolate Bar.
Although both bars are higher in Calories, they’re low Cholesterol, in fact Xoçai™ Nuggets have NO Cholesterol. A recent study done by the Mayo Clinic showed that Flavanoids, such as those found in chocolate, help cut back on "bad" cholesterol while raising the levels of "good" cholesterol. Interesting to note that both chocolates being compared have NO Trans Fatty Acids. The Mayo Clinic also found that chocolate and cocoa butter contain a main saturated fat, called Stearic Acid, which is a neutral fat and does not raise LDL, which is the "bad" cholesterol. The mono-unsaturated fat found in chocolate and cocoa butter is Oleic Acid, which may actually raise the "good" cholesterol levels. Therefore, the cocoa butter found in chocolate may actually be healthy for us, again “Healthy Chocolate”.
Now let’s compare the Carbohydrates in the two products. The Dove® Dark Chocolate Bar has 7 gram of Carbohydrates, all 7 grams come from sugar. The Xoçai™ Nuggets have 6 grams of balanced Carbohydrates, 1 gram of Dietary Fiber, something we need in our daily diet, and 3 grams of sugar. The Xoçai™ Nuggets have almost 60% less sugar than Dove®, which means you’re getting more of that wonderful Belgian Dark Chocolate and less of that sugar we don’t need!
Finally, each 12-gram piece of Xoçai™ Nuggets has an ORAC Value or Antioxidant Content of 3,120, and the USDA recommends at least 3,000 to 5,000 per day. Furthermore, the Xoçai™ Nuggets are the only Chocolate Bar, dark or milk, in the marketplace that has printed on the packaging the ORAC Value or Antioxidant Content of the product. We’re truly excited that we have the Ultimate Antioxidant Treat with a balanced nutritional profile. The Xoçai™ Nuggets will begin shipping on December 12th, 2005, so get in your pre-orders now, download the Xoçai™ Nuggets Pre-Order.Many distributors have already asked if they can change their Auto-Ship to the Xoçai™ Nuggets, and the answer is yes! If you’d like to change your Auto-Ship immediately please keep in mind that your card will be charged now to maintain your 4-Week Qualifications, however, the product will be shipped on December 12th, 2005. Furthermore, the “Back-Office” is being update so that when the product arrives, you’ll be able to sign-up your new Associates with Xoçai™ Nuggets as well as the Xoçai™ Antioxidant Beverage.

Ride for the Roses - Xocai sponsored Greek bicycling team!

The Greek semi-pro bicycling team has just recently returned from a successful weekend at the Lance Armstrong Foundation's 9th Annual Ride For The Roses event in Austin Texas (http://www.livestrong.org) . The team is sponsored by Independent MXI Distributors Lauretta Minnick, Linda Langdon and others and is managed by Team Manager, Prokopis Batzanopoulos. They effectively represented Greece, Xocai™ and the Lance Armstrong Foundation's Peloton Project wearing the new jerseys with the Xocai™ logo all over them. The team was able to raise and donate $1600 for the Peloton Project. With quick feet and a bit of maneuvering through the Peloton, George Heretakis, a Greek team member residing in Texas, was able to ride side by side with Lance Armstrong for a portion of the race event (see picture). The team will continue riding in events both in the US and Greece proudly generating interest in Xocai™. They are also making plans to ride in the LIVESTRONG Ride next year in Portland Oregon.

The Xocai™ booth at the LIVESTRONG Village was a huge success where they sold product, gave out over 1500 samples, free product and generated quite a buzz among the more than 6500 participants and visitors to the Village. The LIVESTRONG Village, formerly the Health & Sports Expo, is an integral part of the annual Lance Armstrong Foundation Ride for the Roses Weekend. The LIVESTRONG Village serves as the hub for all Ride Weekend activities, including packet pick-up for the Ride for the Roses cycling event.

For more photos and information about the Ride For The Roses event or to learn more about Prokopis and his Orion team, go to http://ilive.ixocai.com or www.bncycling.com. If you are interested in helping to sponsor the team or help them raise money for the Lance Armstrong Foundation please visit www.ilive.ixocai.com or email info@ilive.ixocai.com . "Team Xocai™" t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats etc. will soon be available to purchase. Sales of these items will help fund the team and their events as they 'advertise' Xocai™.

Chocolate Success!

Xoçai™ is going to be more successful than we can even imagine!!! This product is SO media driven. You can’t turn on your radio, computer or television without hearing breaking news on the associated health benefits of Chocolate. Recently on the “Today Show”, one of their featured reports was “Chocolate is good for my health? “ NBC's Kevin Tibbles reports that ingredients of cocoa have been found to be good for your health. Samantha Heller, from Health magazine, then explains the health benefits of other foods to "Today" host Matt Lauer.” It is interesting in the report how it discusses how extremely healthy chocolate actually is, especially if you can find a source without the added fat and sugar, I think they’re talking about Xoçai™.

To access the video of this incredible interview click on this link, http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3032633/?ta=y, and it’ll redirect you to the website where you can view the actual video. This link is also going to be posted on MXI Corp’s website at www.mxicorp.com. Please make sure to forward this link to everyone already in the business and to those who are drinking Xoçai™.

This truly is the Year of Chocolate and as we like to say “Now Welcome to the World of Xoçai™”!

How Clear Is Your Vision? By Liane Wood

How Clear Is Your Vision?By Liane Wood

Wouldn’t it be nice to know that there is a way to get what you want? Whether it’s in business or your personal life, this article will clearly show you the steps you need to take to achieve your goals.

I heard it said once that vision without action is only a dream, but action without vision is a nightmare. In my first article, The Road To Success - A.C.T.I.O.N., I discussed action. So today, I’d like to discuss vision with you.

The first thing you need to do is to establish what your vision is. In order to accomplish goals, it is very important to be focused. To be focused, there must be something to be focused on.

The reality is the future is coming whether we’re ready for it or not, and those who don’t create the future they want will have to endure the future they get.

What does your future look like? Take some time and think about what you would like your future to look like. Write your ideas down. Once you have some ideas to work with you can begin developing a plan to create your future.

For example, let’s say you are currently employed outside of your home on a full time basis and your vision is to be able to work from home. Now that you have defined your vision it becomes much easier to develop a plan to achieve that vision.

Part of your plan should include research to find out if your vision is realistic or a pipe dream. So using our example of wanting to work from home, you would begin researching options that would provide you with an income from your home. The more research you do, the more focused your vision will become, and the more likely you are to succeed.

Depending on what your vision is, you may get overwhelmed by the size of the task ahead of you. Remember these sayings, the way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time and Rome wasn’t built in one day.

The next step is breaking the task down into manageable chunks that you can handle.

Completing this step is crucial. Many people give up at this step and get lost in what I call “action avoidance strategies”. What are action avoidance strategies? Here are a few of them:

Analysis Paralysis
Procrastination
Denial
Lack of Good Reasons to Complete the Task
Fear of the Unknown

Now, once you are 70% of the way to being ready to begin, start moving forward. If you wait until everything is perfect to begin working towards your vision you will never start. The other 30% will unfold as you move forward and this allows you to select, reflect and correct your plan along the way.

Intentions + Action = Results

It’s imperative to move out of the planning stage and into the action stage if you want to create your future and accomplish your vision.

Get a big vision and then go after it!!

Mars plans to develop drugs to treat diabetes, stroke and heart disease

Updated: 1:42 p.m. ET July 25, 2005

LONDON - Mars, the company that made its fortune satisfying chocolate cravings, unveiled plans on Monday to develop medications that use a component of cocoa to help treat diabetes, strokes and vascular disease.
The privately held U.S. company that produces M&Ms and Mars bars said it hoped to make medications based on flavanols ” plant chemicals with health benefits found in cocoa, as well as red wine and green tea.
Mars said it is in talks with large pharmaceutical companies for a licensing or joint venture agreement to reproduce the compounds in cocoa shown to improve blood flow.
The mounting scientific evidence is extraordinary,” said Dr. Norm Hollenberg, professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, which has collaborated with Mars on cocoa research.
“This is a scientific breakthrough that could well lead to a medical breakthrough.”
Hollenberg was chairing a two-day seminar with 20 science and medical experts in Switzerland to discuss the newest research on cocoa™s potential health benefits.
The specific cocoa flavanol molecules responsible for a blood-thinning aspirin-like effect have been identified for the first time, Mars said.
Two clinical trials have also found that cocoa flavanols can boost the flow of blood to key areas of the brain, raising the possibility of treatments for dementia and strokes.
A new clinical study has shown flavanols™ ability to improve synthesis of nitric oxide by blood vessels could aid treatment of vascular complications associated with long-term diabetes.
Mars has already launched CocoaVia, a nutrition bar containing 80 calories and specially preserved flavanols, which usually get destroyed in cocoa processing.
The chocolate industry had to rid its products of a junk food image and highlight cocoaâ™s healthier qualities to encourage demand for a produce mainly grown by poor African farmers, industry experts said at a conference in Malaysia last week.
